Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse through our online store, after you have made your selection (Colour, Size etc.) add all items that you want to buy to the shopping cart. After you have finished shopping, click on "Check Out". You will then be asked for a few details that we need to be able to process the order.
Payments
All prices quoted are in Pounds Sterling and we only accept payment in this currency. If you are shopping from outside the UK you can use the currency converter at www.oanda.com to convert the price to your own currency. When you make a payment your credit card company will automatically convert the currency for you.
Paying by Credit Card
Once you have registered/logged into the site you will be redirected to PayPal, where you can pay by credit or debit card. PayPal accepts all major credit/debit cards.
Your payments are made in a secure environment. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits. Numbers are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. For more information on this visit www.paypal.com.
Paying by Cheque
Please note that if you wish to pay by cheque, goods will not be dispatched until funds have cleared in our bank. Should there be any problem at this stage, you will be contacted to either make other arrangements or to cancel the order if you wish. Your name, card number, order number and telephone number must be written clearly on the back of your cheque. Please note that we can only accept cheques issued by UK banks.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added.
Shipping And Handling
For UK orders add £3.00 p+p recorded delivery.
European orders standard post add £5.00 p+p.
International orders standard post add £10.00 p+p. These are standard charges to an upper weight limit of 1kg. We will contact you for authorisation before shipping should the p+p exceed these above costs.
Delivery
We deliver your order right away. We will normally dispatch your order to you within three business days. We will email you to let you know when your order has been dispatched. We send all UK orders via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. International orders are generally received in less than fourteen days. The quoted timescales are subject to our carriers conditions.
Returns
Firstly, let us know what the problem is. Email us at info@waikukubeach.com, and we will let you know what to do next.
Any item has to be sent back to us no later than 7 days after delivery.
Naturally any returned goods have to be in the same condition that you received them, with all the original packaging and tags intact.
If you want to exchange something, (if it doesn’t fit) you’ll need to cover the initial cost of sending it back to us. After this there won’t be any further charges for sending the replacement item to you.
But, if you receive an item that is faulty we will refund your return delivery charges. However, you will be responsible for the goods until they get back to us, so we suggest you use a secure delivery which requires a signature on delivery. Just get in touch with us and we will advise you if you need any help.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm.
Please note that all the above applies only to goods purchased through the Waikuku Beach online store. If you wish to return goods purchased direct from our Woolacombe shop, please contact the shop directly, where they will be able to advise you. See the shop page for contact numbers.
